We all know volunteers are vital to ministry, but we also know they can be costly to recruit, train and retain. Come explore volunteer processes that remove the obstacles keeping our people from serving and leading.
Diana Mescher is the Groups Director at Cornerstone in Chandler, and previously lead the Guest Services and Volunteer Central departments. Diana holds a master’s degree in divinity from Fuller Seminary in Phoenix, Arizona. She is an Iowa native who loves encouraging the faith of others. She is frequently found speaking a women’s retreats, hanging out in coffee shops or exploring Arizona’s hiking trails.
Z is currently the Volunteer Central Department lead at Cornerstone Church where she helps attendees and members of the church connect to Christ’s calling to serve others using their gifts and talents. She has successfully organized and executed volunteer appreciation events for over 1500 volunteers. In her spare time, she teaches physical exercise for older adults, leads Bible studies and enjoys participating in international mission trips.
Z was born and raised in Colombia and is proficient in both English and Spanish. Z currently leads a bi-lingual women’s bible study at Cornerstone Church. She is truly passionate about loving others by serving others.
