Breakout Session: The Church Playbook: How To Go From 0-200 In Your Church, Faster Than You Thought Possible
Every Pastor gets into the ministry to reach people for Jesus, and to see changed lives.
The problem is, while the principles of ministry haven’t changed (prayer, fasting, preaching God’s Word, etc…) the methods that effectively reach people for Christ in the 21st century are changing…ALL. OF. THE. TIME.
In this breakout session, you’ll hear the story of how Riverview Church went through some struggles in the early days as a Church Plant, but more importantly, you’ll learn the 6 fundamentals, that took them from just a few families to over 200 in less than a year!
That can be your story too! Find out how to jumpstart growth in your Church, and breakthrough one of the toughest barriers that every Church has to deal with.
Coming from a Military family, Todd has been all over the United States. His family finally settled in Santee, Ca in 1990, where he went to High School at Santana, and later went on to Christian Heritage College, where he majored in Biblical Studies. It was at Christian Heritage in 1996, where Todd met Sarah, and the two would be married in the Spring of 1998. They’ve been married for 20 years, and have two teenagers.
In 2011, Todd & Sarah Tolson planted Riverview Community Church, “A Church For People Who Don’t Like Church”, where after seven years, several hundred people attend every Sunday. Riverview is best known for how it serves its community. Since its inception, Riverview has donated more than 1,100 school-supply-filled backpacks to its local School District, and has partnered with “Caring Neighbors”, an organization that takes care of Senior Citizens. By God’s grace, last year, Riverview paid off the debts of every single student in Santee, in every single school where families could not financially keep up with their school’s hot meal plan.
All of this is in attempt to “Put community in the Church, and the put the Church back out into the community.”
